| Devaria
Tal is situated on the Chopta - Ukhimath
road about 2 km. from road head at Sari
village. This lake has captivating
surroundings with forests all round. The
reflection of the mighty Chaukhamba peak
in the lake creates a beautiful effect.
The road is motorable upto Sari, 12
km. from Ukhimath and from there one has
to trek about 2 kms. All arrangement
have to be made for night halt at the
spot. There is another trekking route
from Ukhimath to Deoria Tal which is 6
km. |

| A
sparkling lake surrounded by dense forests. The
famous Himalayan trouts are found in abundance
in the lake. Here is a dazzling body of water in
the midst of an extremely dense forest of oak,
pine, and deodar. Fed by natural springs in its
depths. It provides an idyllic retreat for rest
and recreational activities. The lake about 1.5
kilometers in circumference, calm and placed in
a setting equally calm and lovely, in direct
contract to what lies ahead of the trek when,
after a few kilometers, the scenery will change
to rough, rugged and awesome in its wild beauty.
A beautiful camping site, while behind the lake
is the magnificent back - drop of the blue sky
playing with the mighty peaks of the
Himalayas
truly a veritable temple of nature.

by train at 10:00 PM on 23rd

(Day
01) Arrival
on Haridwar by 06:00 AM.
Drive to Ukimath from Haridwar
(200 km. / 8 hrs.) Via Rishikesh,
Devprayag, Srinager & Rudraprayag.
Breakfast at Rishikesh and Lunch at
Srinagar
. Arrival at Ukhimath by 6:00 PM. Check
into Hotel, dinner & overnight stay. |

(Day
02) In
the morning Ukhimath visit of temple.
This is a winter seat of Lord Shiva, and
worship is done here during the winter
when the
temple
of
Kadarnath
remains closed. The
temple
of
Usha
and Anniruddha, Shiva and Parvati are
worth visiting. Trek to Devaria Tal at
11:00 AM after breakfast. Trek is 7 Km.
(3 – 4 hrs.) through dense
forest
of
Rhodendron
, wild flowers and ferns. Lunch enrote
(packed). Site seeing in evening Dinner
& camp fire at Devaria Tal,
overnight stay in tent. |

breakfast 2 km. trek to Sari village at
9:00 AM and at 10:30 AM departure to
Rishikesh from
Sari
Village
(200 Km. / 8 Hrs.) Lunch enroute. Dinner
at haridwar and return to
Delhi
by Train at 11:00 PM. |
