The magnificence of the Garhwal Himalayas is enhanced by the numerous alpine meadows, called bugyals, which lie in its vicinity. In the summer time the nomadic people who live between the Shivalik Ranges and the Greater Himalayas, mostly shepherds use these meadows for grazing their cattle. 
Panwali Kantha situated at 3963 mts. altitude is one on the famous bugyal and one can enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayan Peaks and is the best for sun set view. In ancient time this trek is used by pilgrim while coming from Gangotri to Kedarnath. After road development this route is used by trekkers or by local villagers. 
This trek can be approached from two side either from Triyugi Narayan or from Ghuttu. We follow this route from Ghuttu to Sonprayag and keep one day at Panwali Kantha to explore the beauty of Bugyal and one can enjoy the sun set and sun rise view from bugyal.
Day 1:
Rishikesh - Ghuttu
Drive to Ghuttu from Rishikesh (170 km. / 7-8 hrs.). Arrival at Ghuttu by 6:00 PM dinner & overnight stay in Hotel / Tent.
Day 2:
Ghuttu - Dhupanda
Day 3:
Dhupanda - Panwali
Day 4:
Panwali - Dhupanda
Day 5:
Dhupanda - Ghuttu
Day 6:
Ghuttu - Rishikesh
